A Prayer of Gratitude: Trusting God’s Provision and Protection

July 29, 20251 min read

Say this prayer to shift your mindset and realign your heart with God's goodness.

Lord God,

I come before you today with a grateful heart, acknowledging the many blessings and miracles you've brought into my life.

I trust that you will always provide for my needs, and I take this time to express my sincere gratitude to you, Abba, Lord of the Most High for everything you have already given me and every blessing thats on its way.

Even with many children, you always take the time to listen, love, nurture, and protect me.

You always hear my prayers and have never forsaken me.

Your name, O God, is supremely great. You are more powerful than any enemy, and I am safe in your loving care.

Thank you for being my rock today and always.

Amen

Hello! I’m Elle Angel. I’m an author, speaker, and podcaster, but at the core of it, I’m just a mom who cares deeply about what gets planted in people’s hearts, especially kids. I’ve spent years teaching in both formal and informal school settings, as well as serving in kids ministry. I honestly love the sweetness and honesty of kids, and yes, even the chaos that comes with it. There’s something about it. It’s loud and messy and full, but it’s real.

What gets me every time is when something clicks for a child. You can literally see it on their face. The moment they understand something new, the moment it makes sense, the moment they feel it. It’s like a light turns on.
And when that “click” is about who they are in God, or how much Jesus loves them… there’s nothing like it.
